The Young Playwrights Collective was formed by Playwrights Local in 2018 as an incubator for emerging playwrights. In addition to hosting regular writers’ group meetings, support for the YPC included workshop productions, staged readings, and showcases. 

Playwrights Local was proud to see the Young Playwrights Collective grow into its own community of like-minded playwrights. Now working both with us and independently, the YPC continues to support its circle of artists.
