SAFETY

COVID-19 Policy

Revised April 13, 2022

Playwrights Local reassesses its Covid masking and vaccination policies upon the opening of ticket sales for its productions. As we launch our events for May 2022, the pandemic is at a low ebb, with performance venues adopting relaxed requirements.

Due to the small size of our venue, all patrons must wear masks covering both the nose and mouth while in attendance for all performances in May 2022. Masks must be surgical, KN95, or N95, and must not be bandanas, face shields, or other substitutes. Surgical masks will be provided at no cost at our box office.

Playwrights Local also requests that patrons who have been exposed to Covid or who have symptoms of Covid as well as the common cold and flu please release their tickets for transfer, rescheduling, or refund. Because our venue is compact, demonstrably unwell attendees will affect the experiences of others, including the performers. Contact us at playwrightslocal@gmail.com in the event this arises.

For our performances in May 2022, we are not requiring proof of vaccination or a recent negative Covid test for admission. Vaccination remains recommended and may be required for future performances.

For the protection of its employees, collaborators, and patrons, Playwrights Local reserves the right to revise this Covid policy in the event of another spike in cases or similar health crisis.
