Due to the urgent crisis regarding the global coronavirus outbreak, Playwrights Local will be postponing our production of Hey Siri by Mary E. Weems, Ph.D., originally planned for March 20-29 . This decision was based initially on the wholesale closure of our venue, Waterloo Arts, through April 15; in addition, the recommendations of The Dramatists Guild and other governing bodies were significant factors.

We strongly value the work already done on Hey Siri by the playwright, director, cast, designers, and staff, and we will explore every option for making sure that comes to fruition at a later date. However, we regard the health of our patrons as our foremost priority.

To confirm, all performances of Hey Siri are regrettably being postponed. Although we are exploring new dates for this production, no new dates are set at this moment.

We have refunded all tickets that were pre-paid online via our system. Please feel free to contact us after March 18 if you do not receive your refund (use info@playwrightslocal.org).

As of now, Playwrights Local still plans to present our next production, The King of Cage Street by Michael Oatman, as scheduled from April 24 – May 9.

Thank you all for your ongoing support.
